One Dead After Motorcycle And Vehicle Crash - St Ives

One person has died following a crash on Sydney's Upper North Shore overnight.

About 7.30pm (Saturday 27 July 2024), emergency services were called to the intersection of Mona Vale and Link Road, St Ives, following reports of a crash between a car and motorcycle.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the male rider; however, he died at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and taken to Hornsby Hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene has been established as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
