Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command have commenced an investigation after a report on an online threat was made towards a religious centre at Edmondson Park yesterday (Monday 3 March 2025).
The matter was reported to police today.
There are no ongoing threats to the community and initial inquiries revealed the source of the threat was interstate.
Increased taskings will be conducted by officers as part of Strike Force Pearl.
As investigations continue, anyone with information is asked to call Liverpool Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
