Moreton District Crime Group Detective Inspector David Harbison said Operation Victor Course is aimed at targeting and disrupting anti-social behaviour on public transport during peak travel periods.
"Every wanding operation is an opportunity to not only take dangerous weapons off our streets, but to engage with the community and educate them on exactly why carrying a weapon puts themselves and others at risk," Acting Senior Segreant McAllister said.
"Moreton Tactical Crime Squad will continue to proactively conduct these operations in a high-visibility capacity to enhance community safety."
