Police have charged 56 people following large scale operations across the North Brisbane District (NBD) last week.
Officers from the Bike Squad, Criminal Investigation Branch, Tactical Crime Squad, Railway Squad, District Crime Prevention Co-ordinators and general duties police joined forces to crack down on crime.
On Thursday May 8, officers conducted Operation Xray Calculus, focusing on property offences, wanding, and community engagement.
The operation spanned across multiple train stations and shopping centres resulting in 49 people charged on 77 offences.
Around 2.30pm while wanding at a Chermside bus stop, officers located a man in possession of a steak knife.
A 20-year-old Wavell Heights man was charged with one count of possession of a knife in a public place.
He is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 5.

At approximately 11am officers conducting proactive patrols of a Chermside shopping centre arrested two people in relation to a stolen property investigation.
It will be alleged the pair committed several shop stealing offences between April and May.
A subsequent search warrant at a Stafford Heights address is alleged to have resulted in the recovery of $1,500 worth of stolen property.
An 18-year-old Zillmere man and 19-year-old Taigum woman have been charged with five counts each of enter premises and commit indictable offence involving property stolen to the value of $5,500.
The woman is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 27.
The man expected to reappear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 28.
Police also conducted extensive patrols at train stations as a preventive strategy against property and vehicle theft.
Over 500 vehicles were inspected and left with an assessment indicating whether the vehicle was secure.

On Friday May 9, Operation Brisbane Safe returned to saturate Brisbane's CBD with officers working to disrupt and prevent unlawful activity and public nuisance behaviour.
The operation resulted in seven people charged on 10 offences including to possession of a knife in a public place and stealing.
At approximately 4pm Brisbane City Bike Squad were conducting proactive patrols on Edward Street when they stopped man for wanding.
It is alleged the man was in possession of a knife and a stolen card.
A 50-year-old Kangaroo Point man was charged with two counts of possess stolen property and one count of possess knife in a public place.
He is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 30.
NBD Acting Chief Superintendent Simon Tayler says the proactive operations are two of many the district regularly runs to intercept, prevent and reduce crime to keep the local community safe.
"We regularly see the success of large-scale operations which saturate hot spots to target and prevent crime.
"Our officers are committed to targeting crime through all avenues to hold offenders to account and prevent offending before it occurs.
"These results are in addition to the hard work our officers do every day to keep the community safe".
