The new Spirits project, when fully delivered, is going to be a great thing for the Tasmanian economy and Tasmanian businesses.
The new ships should be operating from Devonport by now, but because of the Government's incompetence and mismanagement, they are stuck on the other side of the world with nowhere to operate from.
Premier Rockliff is set to face scrutiny from the Public Accounts Committee today and we look forward to hearing from the Premier about his involvement in the project, or lack thereof.
Does the Premier really expect Tasmanians to believe he didn't know about the issues at Berth 3 until after the election?
If so, how can Tasmanians trust Premier Rockliff to be on top of other critical projects throughout the state?
Will the Premier welcome Labor's oversight committee?
The Premier has said he's committed to getting the project back on track, but Tasmanians are still in the dark about how things got to this point.
