Yesterday, Optus officially opened its first retail presence in Echuca, creating new jobs and an enhanced service experience for local residents.
The new store will be the go-to destination for anyone looking for a new mobile phone plan, great value broadband internet, home phone or TV entertainment packages as well as tech advice from instore experts.
The new store is a part of Optus ongoing commitment to providing more choice in Western Victoria. In the last 12 months Optus has invested $1.95M into the Bendigo region with three new sites being built including Bendigo Showground, Kangaroo Flat South and Maiden Gully South.
Optus Territory General Manager for North and South West Victoria Alan Rigoni said, Were very excited to unveil the new Echuca store to local residents. The needs of the local community are extremely important to us and the new store will not only allow us to be more accessible to our customers but more importantly serve our community better.
Mr Rigoni said over the last year, Optus has remained committed to putting in place a range of measures to help customers and the community remain connected, with the new store in Echuca forming part of this.
