Orange Hosts Karting Festival This Weekend

Orange will host a major state-level karting event this weekend with around one hundred and fifty competitors arriving for the 3-day KNSW Kart Festival.

The KNSW Kart Festival will be hosted at the recently upgraded Orange Kart Club from the 6th to the 8th of September 2024. With its challenging track layout and great amenities, the venue promises to deliver an unforgettable racing experience for competitors and spectators alike.

As one of the premier events on the karting calendar, the KNSW Kart Festival will showcase the talent and dedication of karting enthusiasts from across the state.

Orange Mayor Jason Hamling is looking forward to the event.

"Karting has a strong following in Orange over many years and we're thrilled to welcome Karting NSW and the KNSW Kart Festival to Orange," Cr Jason Hamling said. "Karting has a reputation as the stepping-stone for many of today's top drivers to get into motor sport. This festival event is going to be a great opportunity for locals to see the best of sport first-hand.

"We look forward to showcasing our city's hospitality and attractions to competitors, families, and spectators throughout the event."

Chair of Karting NSW, Belinda Colombrita, is looking forward to the Orange Festival.

The event includes demonstration events for vintage karts on both days as well as Retro karting and current day sprint kart action.
