CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State University Board of Trustees will meet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16. Given COVID-19 guidance from the governor's office, as well as university and county health officials, the meeting will be hosted through a remote conferencing service. This meeting is open to the public.
The board will consider a revised university budget for the fiscal year, an adjustment to fall term 2020 student incidental fees, the president's goals for the fiscal year, and the board's work plan for the next calendar year. The board also will hear a report on advancing equity, inclusion, and social justice within the university, and a legislative update.

Board committees will also meet via remote conferencing services. These meetings are open to the public:
- The Academic Strategies Committee will meet from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Oct. 14. to consider its 2021 work plan. The committee will hear a briefing on faculty affairs and on global engagement and internationalization. The committee will consider its work plan for the next calendar year and receive a report on workplace safety.
- The Finance and Administration Committee will meet from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14. to consider quarterly financial reports, the university's revised operating budget, an adjustment of fall term 2020 student incidental fees, and the committee's 2021 work plan. The committee will hear a status report on the university's major capital projects and an update from the OSU Foundation.
- The Executive and Audit Committee will meet from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15, to consider the president's goals for the year, a needs assessment for a board vacancy anticipated in 2021, and the Office of Audit, Risk and Compliance's progress report. The board will hear a public safety update and the annual compliance and ethics and legal counsel reports.
The Board of Trustees also will hold a work session on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The work session will include discussions of antiracism and equity and access in Oregon's educational systems from kindergarten through college.
