On Friday 12January 2024 detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch searched sixteen houses and charged thirteen men with being present with two or more other participants of a criminal organisation.
The offences occurred on the 2nd of January 2024 and involved members of the Hells Angels, an Outlaw Motorcycle Group (OMCG), riding together from Cherry Gardens through the metropolitan area, before dispersing at Pasadena.
It will be alleged the men are members, prospects, or associates of the Hells Angels, which isa declared criminal organisation under the Serious and Organised Crime (Control) Act 2008.
All the men have been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 9 April.
Those charged include:
38 -year -old man, 27- year- old man and a 28 - year- old man all from Munno Para
68 -year- old man from Cavan
34 -year- old man and a 56-year- old man from Old Reynella
32- year -old man from Virginia
35- year- old man from Davoren Park
62- year- old man from Marion
31- year -old man from Clearview
62- year -old man from Two Wells
64 -year -old man from Para Hills
34- year -old man from Happy Valley
Detective Inspector Fraser Huntley, Acting Officer in Charge of Crime Gangs Task Force said
'The laws relating to public gatherings of those connected with declared criminal organisations, such as Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs, are in place to ensure public safety. Where gatherings of OMCG's are identified, the South Australia Police will investigate activities and take action to ensure the safety of the public.'
