A woman has been charged as part of an investigation into drug importation in the state's Central West.
In September 2021, the NSW Police Force commenced an investigation after receiving information from Australian Border Force (ABF) about the alleged importation of drugs into Australia.
Police will allege packages containing methylamphetamine and cocaine were imported from the United States of America, Paris and Slovakia.
The packages have an estimated potential street value of approximately $448,900.
Following extensive enquiries, officers from Chifley Western Region Enforcement Squad executed a search warrant at a home in Millthorpe just after 4pm on Thursday 11 November 2021.
Police located and seized, cannabis, methylamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
A 32-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Bathurst Police Station.
She was charged with cause to be carried by post article with controlled drug/plant (x3), import marketable quantity of border controlled drug (x6) and possess prohibited drug (x2).
The Millthorpe woman was given conditional bail to appear at Bathurst Local Court on Wednesday 19 January 2022.
