Around 9.15am this morning police intercepted a Provisional 1 driver speeding at 131km/h in the 80km/h zone at Rifle Range Road in Sandford
The 20-year-old man from Moonah will have his licence disqualified for four months and receive a fine of $994.75 and 6 demerit points. The black Holden Commodore sedan involved will be clamped for 28 days.
Police urge motorists to obey all speed signs, slow down in rural areas and drive to survive.
