Panel Begins Work on Future Community Vision

Moira Shire Council is proud to announce the appointment of the dedicated residents who will form the newly established Community Panel. This representative group will play a vital role in shaping the Moira Shire Community Vision and providing feedback on the draft Council Plan, ensuring the diverse voices of our region are heard and represented.

The panel reflects a broad range of perspectives and includes residents from across the municipality who were chosen based on their expertise, experience, and ability to provide impartial, critical advice.

Moira Shire Council Chair Administrator Dr Graeme Emonson PSM described the panel as an essential forum for consultation, discussion, and engagement.

"This group of community members will provide valuable insights and guidance as we set the blueprint for the future. It will enable Council to capture the aspirations and needs of the entire community in the 2045 Community Vision," Dr Emonson said.

"We extend our gratitude to all who applied and look forward to working closely with the appointed panel to build a vibrant and inclusive Moira Shire.

"The establishment of the Community Panel highlights Council's commitment to fostering inclusive decision-making and meaningful engagement."

Panel members will contribute to shaping the Shire's long-term strategic vision, identifying priorities, and addressing opportunities for growth and development across the region.

Congratulations to Moira Shire Council's appointed Community Panel members.
