The event, called Climate Conversation Café, is supported by the Penn State Climate Consortium. The event is free and open the public. In-person attendees are invited to a pizza lunch. All attendees must register.
Moderated by Mark Ortiz, assistant professor of geography, and Peter Buck, director of education for Penn State Sustainability, the panel will discuss outcomes of COP29 and their key takeaways from the meeting. Panelists will be Olivia DiPrinzio, undergraduate student in energy engineering; Robert Nicholas, associate teaching professor and director of CLIMA; Abbie Robinson, graduate student in rural sociology and demography; Brandi Robinson, associate teaching professor of energy and sustainability policy; and Janet Swim, professor of psychology and associate director of the Penn State Climate Consortium.
