Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating an incident that occurred in Parkeston yesterday, Monday, 22 February 2021.
About 4.00pm, a Mack prime mover road train combination was driving in a north easterly direction on Yarri Road whilst a train was travelling in a westerly direction on railway tracks. The road train combination and the train were involved in a collision at the railway crossing.
The 43-year-old male truck driver received minor injuries. Both 70-year-old male train drivers were flown to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
