Detectives from Major Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Wyuna East this afternoon.
It is believed a vehicle and a truck collided at the intersection of Trevaskis and Finlay roads around 1.30pm.
The male driver and sole occupant of the truck was not injured.
The male driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Sadly, the female passenger of the vehicle, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
