Community invited to attend Remembrance Day services
Remembrance Day services will be held throughout the City of Logan on Monday, November 11.

The City of Logan community is invited to honour those who gave their lives in service on Remembrance Day.

Monday, November 11 marks the anniversary of the armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War 1.

Every year at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, millions around the world pause in silence to remember the sacrifices many have made so we can enjoy life today.

Local ceremonies planned for 2024 include:

Logan Central Cenotaph

  • 10.45 am to 11.15am at Logan Central Cenotaph, Corner of Jacaranda Ave and Wembley Rd, Logan Central

Springwood Park

  • 10.30am to 11.10am at Springwood Park, Cinderella Dr, Springwood

Beenleigh War Memorial

  • 10am for a 10.30am start (formalities will run until just after 11am) at Beenleigh War Memorial, Corner James and Crete streets, Beenleigh

Logan Village Cenotaph

  • 10.40 am to 11am at Logan Village Cenotaph, Wharf St, Logan Village

Greenbank Services Club Memorial

  • 10.45am to 11.20am at Greenbank Services Club Memorial, 54 Anzac Ave, Hillcrest
