Police will prepare a report for the coroner after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Glen Iris earlier this month.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian at the intersection of High Street and Malvern Road about 3.55pm on 1 August.
The pedestrian, a 79-year-old Armadale man, was transported to hospital at the time of the incident but has since sadly died.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 56-year-old woman, was not injured.
