Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Mooroolbark last month.
Investigators have been told a car and pedestrian collided on Maroondah Highway, near Landscape Drive, about 10.30am on 24 June.
The pedestrian, an 81-year-old woman from Mooroolbark, was taken to hospital for treatment but later died.
