At 9.30pm on Friday 31 January 2025, emergency services were called to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on Abbotsfield Road, Claremont.
A 40 year old male was transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital with minor injuries. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Investigations are continuing into circumstances around the incident. Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a silver 1996 Toyota Camry in the area of Abbotsfield Road at the time.
