We would like to inform you that Pelican Road (between Railway Terrace and the proposed Minerva Street extension) will cease being a public road from Monday 12 August 2019.
Parking will no longer be permitted in this area and access will be shortly denied by fencing.
This is as a result of the changing road pattern in the Schofields precinct.
We understand this may cause inconvenience to residents and have provided a short term parking alternative on the newly opened Jerralong Drive.
Sydney Metro is proposing a new commuter car park, with the allocation of 150 car spaces, on the western side of Schofields railway station. No date has been provided for the additional parking, however, once it is operational this would provide more car parking options for residents and commuters.
