Wyndham City is thrilled to announce an exciting new space designed to bring the community together.
Penrose Place will be available for the community to book cultural events, markets and private events from 28 February 2025.
Wyndham City's Deputy Mayor and Wimba Ward Councillor, Josh Gilligan said: "Come along and join us at the free Penrose Place Open Day which showcases our new space on Friday, 28 February from 4pm to 6pm and enjoy a site tour, live music and the ambience of the space."
"Food trucks will be on site, and they'll have a variety of food options available."
"The flexible open-area event space has capacity for up to 400 people and will be available for community use from 9am to 9pm on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays."
"The flexible outdoor activation space has been specifically designed for marquees, food trucks, and al fresco dining in mind, making it an ideal space for markets, food truck events, community and cultural gatherings."
The site offers convenient access to water and power, ambient lighting, and a designated waste collection area with a selection of Council-managed bins.
It is a fabulous space for a variety of events and activations and conveniently located on Penrose Promenade and Wickford Rd, Tarneit.
