The bushfire that has been burning in the Perth Hills since Monday 1 February has been contained, and our teams and partner builders are now on the ground supporting customers in person, ensuring their properties are safe, and assessing the damage to ensure repairs and rebuilds of homes and properties can begin as soon as possible.
We've received 89 claims related to the fires since the beginning of last week. We have a dedicated team managing these claims and have prioritised claims for vulnerable customers and those with significant losses.
Claims teams at the Gidgegannup recovery centre
Since the fires began, our focus has been on providing practical and immediate support for our customers. Now that it is safe to enter the affected areas, our teams will be at the recovery centre at Percy Cullen Oval, 1990 Toodyay Road, Gidgegannup from 10am to 4pm.
We're ready to help customers lodge their claims, answer any questions they might have and organise emergency assistance, including temporary accommodation, where needed.

We encourage any customers who have been impacted by the fire and haven't spoken to us yet to get in contact. Our consultants are available 24/7 to take your calls. We keep records electronically so don't be concerned if insurance documents are not readily on hand.
