Perth Market Snapshot: Week Ending 2 Feb 2025

Sales transactions in Perth last week were down 5 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 810 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were down 5.6 per cent compared to the week prior and unit sales were down 8.1 per cent while land sales were up 13.2 per cent.

Perth's highest sale price: Dalkeith – $4,400,000

Perth's lowest sale price: Bouvard – $210,000

There were 4,864 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 1.5 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 1.5 per cent compared to the week prior and listings for vacant land increasing 5.5 per cent while unit listings remained similar to the previous week.

Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 12.9 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 26.5 per cent higher than levels seen a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,142 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 3.5 per cent down on the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 10.8 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 15 per cent higher than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 667 properties leased last week, which is 16.6 per cent lower than the previous week, 173.4 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 10.1 per cent lower than a year ago.
