Sales transactions in Perth last week were up 20.9 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 970 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were up 17.3 per cent compared to the week prior, unit sales were up 16 per cent and land sales were up 71.2 per cent.

There were 4,932 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 1.4 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 1 per cent compared to the week prior and unit listings increasing 4.4 per cent while listings for vacant land decreased 1.8 per cent.
Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 8.7 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 24.7 per cent higher than levels seen a year ago.
In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,141 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is similar to the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 6.5 per cent lower than four weeks ago but 18.7 per cent higher than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 724 properties leased last week, which is 9.9 per cent higher than the previous week, 21.7 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 7.3 per cent higher than a year ago.
