Perth Market Snapshot: Week Ending April 6, 2025

Sales transactions in Perth last week were down 2 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 989 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were down 2.6 per cent compared to the week prior, unit sales were up 9.9 per cent and land sales were down 25.6 per cent.

Perth's highest sale price: Dalkeith – $3,450,000

Perth's lowest sale price: North Perth – $240,000

There were 5,076 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is similar to the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings remaining relatively stable compared to the week prior, unit listings decreasing 1.5 per cent and listings for vacant land increasing 3.2 per cent.

Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 2.2 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 37.5 per cent higher than levels seen a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,238 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 6 per cent up on the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 7.2 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 14 per cent higher than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 621 properties leased last week, which is 14.9 per cent lower than the previous week but 13.5 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 25.7 per cent higher than a year ago.
