Perth Market Snapshot: Week Ending Feb 16, 2025

Sales transactions in Perth last week were down 3.7 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 923 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were down 2.3 per cent compared to the week prior, unit sales were up 1.4 per cent and land sales were down 23.2 per cent.

Perth's highest sale price: Burswood – $2,155,000

Perth's lowest sale price: Pinjarra – $317,000

There were 5,031 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 2 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 2.3 per cent compared to the week prior and unit listings increasing 2.2 per cent while listings for vacant land were similar to the week prior.

Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 5.3 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 24.5 per cent higher than levels seen a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,055 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 4 per cent down on the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 10.8 per cent lower than four weeks ago but 18.1 per cent higher than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 737 properties leased last week, which is 1.8 per cent higher than the previous week, 5.5 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 12.9 per cent higher than a year ago.
