Sales transactions in Perth last week were up 19.9 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 698 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were up 29 per cent compared to the week prior and unit sales were up 14.8 per cent while land sales were down 33.3 per cent.

There were 4,778 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 5.3 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 6.1 per cent compared to the week prior and unit listings increasing 5.8 per cent while listings for vacant land remained relatively stable.
Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is similar to four weeks ago but 23.7 per cent higher than levels seen a year ago.
In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,303 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is similar to the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 21.9 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 15.4 per cent higher than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 783 properties leased last week, which is 31.2 per cent higher than the previous week and 13.8 per cent higher than a year ago but 1.4 per cent lower than four weeks ago.
