As stated by Environment Minister Reece Whitby:
"We're excited to be celebrating all dads with free entry to Perth Zoo this Father's Day. It's the perfect way to thank them for everything they do.
"It's fantastic to see a record number of visitors through the gates last financial year. It's clear Perth Zoo continues to be a must-visit destination and a great day out for the entire family.
"It's important parents continue this popular tradition of introducing their children to the wonderful world of wildlife, helping the next generation develop an understanding of animal conservation.
"There are free zookeeper talks, food trucks, barbeque facilities as well as opportunities for guided tours and animal encounters. I'd encourage families to enjoy the spring sunshine and all that Perth Zoo has to offer."
