Perth, Australia - April 25, 2024 - Today marks a historic milestone in Western Australian history as the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Perth proudly participated in the ANZAC Day dawn service, with a Muslim leader leading Islamic prayers alongside a Christian chaplain for the first time ever.
In a powerful demonstration of unity and inclusivity, members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community stood shoulder to shoulder with fellow Australians to honor the sacrifices of our fallen heroes, war veterans, and serving members. This historic moment underscores the values of diversity and mutual respect that are at the heart of Australian society.
Mr. Adam Khan, President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Perth, expressed profound gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the official commemorative ceremony. "Today, we stand together as proud Australians, united in our respect and admiration for those who have served our nation. Following the dawn service, many members, including children, from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community attended the parade at Cockburn War Memorial, holding placards honoring the heroes of our country.
