Perth's NightOwl Group Sees 90% Boost in Live Music Sales

Oztix - Australia's Largest Independent Ticketing Company

Hospitality group NightOwl, owner operator of multiple venues in Perth including Magnet House, Amplifier, Metropolis Fremantle, the new Loop, Joondalup and more, continue their ticket sales growth despite a turbulent festival market.

Ticketing partner Oztix reported that NightOwl's live music ticket sales performance has grown by 90% in the last year, with a further rise of 15% expected in 2024.

"The live music touring market doesn't always include Perth due to distance and time, but their live music policy has seen them host nearly 200 live shows a year, with a higher-than-average sell-through rate. Notable shows this year include performances by Jet, The Getaway Plan, The Darkness, Polaris, Dayseeker, Alpha Wolf, The Maine, Kublai Khan.

"NightOwl's stellar performance is because they know what their customers want - and give it to them. They have also invested in their venues to ensure they are a first-class experience, for both locals and visitors to Perth" said Seth Clancy, Commercial Director for Oztix.

The entertainment group have successfully cultivated a passionate fan base, focusing on the alternative and hard rock mental genre. In the last decade they have hosted both international and national headliners, with countless sell-out shows, an an enviable who's who of talent that has featured Amity Affliction, Gangs of Youth, Vengaboys, Hermitude, Violent Soho, Presidents of the United States of America, The Presets, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, The Strokes, Wolfmother, Joey Badass and Parkway Drive among many others.

The NighOwl Entertainment Group appointed Oztix 12 years ago as their ticketing provider, and today announced a further 5-year deal.

Expanding their footprint to the east coast, NightOwl have launched their first Sydney venue last night, with their UK Social Darts sensation Flight Club. Taking over 135 Harrington Street in the Rocks, the 10 million dollar fit out has transformed a three story heritage building into a visually stunning 450-person, themed environment that looks equal parts swanky London Pub and 1800's vintage fairground.
