Landholders have a great opportunity to meet with a number of the Professional Wild Dog Controllers (PWDC) who will be working with Western Local Land Services and landholders to support the control of wild dogs on their property in 2020.
The PWDC will also target known hot spots to reduce the impact of problem wild dogs on the land, livestock and livelihood of landholders in the Western region.
In addition to the meet and greet and update on the PWDC program, the workshops will offer an update on the 'Western Tracks' collaring project which is focusing on wild dogs and feral pigs, an update from the NSW Wild Dog Fence Extension project manager, and give landholders the chance to provide some strategic direction to assist Western Local Land Services map out 'hot spots' of wild dog activity in their local area.

- Wednesday, 12 February at the Warrego Hotel, Fords Bridge (3 pm – 6 pm)
- Thursday, 13 February at the Wanaaring Hall (10:30 am – 1:30 pm)
- Friday, 14 February at the White Cliffs Sporting Club (9:30 am – 12:30 pm).
The workshops will also outline what is expected in the pest animal space from private and public landholders, and the community, in regards to General Biosecurity Duty under the NSW Biosecurity Act 2015.
