Pieter Klinkers Named Iochpe-Maxion CEO

Iochpe-Maxion SA, a world leader in the production of automotive wheels and a leading producer of automotive structural components in the Americas, announced that Pieter Klinkers, the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maxion Wheels, will take on the role of President and CEO of Iochpe-Maxion SA, replacing Marcos Oliveira, who will step down at the end of his term in line with the senior leadership succession plan. This change will take effect on April 16, 2025.

Klinkers has established a distinguished career spanning over 30 years in the automotive industry. After working 10 years for Michelin, he joined Hayes Lemmerz Inc. in 2005, which was subsequently acquired by Iochpe-Maxion. Since 2015, he has been leading the Company's global wheels business.

Mark Gerardts will be the new CEO of Maxion Wheels, replacing Klinkers. Gerardts, currently the Business Unit President for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), joined the company in 2015 and since then has executed several roles with increasing responsibilities.

Oliveira has been nominated by the Iochpe-Maxion Board of Directors to join the slate running for the Board of Directors election during the next ordinary general shareholders' meeting, scheduled for April 16, 2025.
