The fire is currently posing no threat to property. Firefighters are working with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service crews to contain the blaze. Nearby residents may be affected by smoke. Close your windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep medications close by. Motorists should drive with caution.
