Council is seeking $350,000 from the State Government to bring two exciting projects to life.
First up, the Kewarra Beach to Trinity Beach section of the Northern Beaches Leisure Trail is set for detailed design, at a cost of $400,000.
This will bring us closer to a 3m-wide scenic trail for walkers and cyclists between the two beachside suburbs. It is the next step after finishing a section of trail between Clifton Beach and Kewarra Beach earlier this year.
Additionally, a shared path along Fisher Road, Gordonvale is in the works, providing safer walking access to Pyramid Parklands Gujura. The project is budgetted at $302,000.
Council is seeking 50% funding for both projects, with Council to fund the remaining half.
