Bookings for the spectacular new WA Museum Boola Bardip over the summer holiday season are now open. Admission to the Museum is free, but it is so popular people are being asked to book a visit to avoid disappointment.
From November 30 until January 31, 2021, people can get up to 10 tickets to visit Western Australia's premier new tourist attraction in the heart of the Perth Cultural Centre. Entry is still free of charge, but bookings are required to manage the many thousands of people who have expressed a desire to see their new WA Museum.
50,000 tickets have already been allocated for the nine-day opening celebration, from November 21-29. Only ballot ticket holders can access the Museum during this period, however, for those who missed out, the Perth Cultural Centre has a range of fun, free activities for everyone to enjoy.
From today, anyone can go online and make a booking to visit WA Museum Boola Bardip. Summer holiday bookings are not time-limited, so visitors can spend as much time as they like exploring the incredible new exhibitions that share the stories of Western Australia.
Designed by international architect consortium Hassell + OMA, and built by managing contractor Multiplex, WA Museum Boola Bardip integrates five beautifully renovated and repurposed heritage buildings with a stunning new building.

As stated by Culture and the Arts Minister David Templeman:
"The response to the ticket ballot for WA Museum Boola Bardip was astounding. More than 70,000 people entered the ballot for the chance to be a part of the nine-day opening celebrations.
"The Museum has opened bookings for free tickets during the summer season to help manage expected crowds, and create fantastic, safe visitor experiences for all.
"Boola Bardip celebrates our shared stories and will be a huge tourism attraction for Western Australia.
"Everyone should visit their magnificent new WA Museum Boola Bardip, and learn more about our amazing State and its place in the world, and the universe!"
