Playground Closure At George Bolton Swimming Centre

P1666811-min.jpg

The City of Burnside has closed the playground at the George Bolton Swimming Centre for the entirety of the 2024/25 swim season in the interests of community safety. With a lack of shade cover available, the play equipment can become extremely hot in direct sunlight during warmer weather, which presents a risk of burns.
To ensure the safety of our visitors, the playground will remain closed throughout this current swim season. We apologise for any inconvenience during this time.
We invite your feedback on this closure or the long-term future of the playground for the Council's consideration.
