PLEASE REDUCE WATER USE - MOLONG, CUMNOCK & YEOVAL
Council has turned on the emergency bore water supply due to a water main that was damaged during maintenance works on the Mitchell Highway, during some work being undertaken by Transport for NSW to clean up some flood-related debris.
Council water crews have been working to fix the damage, but this will take several days.
It is likely that this will be in place for several days until the water service is fully restored.
There may also be a slight change in the taste of the water.
Water from the Molong Water Treatment Plant is tested daily, complies with Australian drinking water guidelines and is safe for consumption.
Council thanks the community for their cooperation with this request, and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
