Police Appeal For Public Help: Armed Robbery At Ipswich

Police have released CCTV of a man who may be able to assist with investigations into an armed robbery at a fast food restaurant in Augustine Heights on May 8.

Preliminary investigations indicate just before 5.30am, a male wearing a face covering and carrying a knife entered the Augusta Parkway business.

The male threatened the attendant and stole the register.

The employee complied and was not physically harmed.

The male left the scene on foot through the business entrance and was last seen in the vicinity of Ignatius Street.

Police are appealing to anyone who recognises the man, or who may have dashcam in or around Augusta Parkway and Ignatius Street around the time of the robbery, to come forward.
