Police appeal to find missing teenager - Ponds

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's north west.

Alia Sakr, aged 13, was last seen at her home on Fairfax Street, The Ponds, at 12.20am today (Thursday 19 August 2021).

Officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command were immediately notified and commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for the welfare of Alia due to her young age.

She is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, thin build, 155cm, long brown curly hair and brown eyes. It is not known what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

Alia is known to frequent the Schofields, Castle Hill and Lalor Park areas.

Anyone who may have seen Alia, or knows of her whereabouts, is urged to call Riverstone Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
