Police appeal to locate an elderly man missing from Strathfield

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Strathfield area.

Ahmad Ali, aged 79, was last seen at his residence in Strathfield around 10am today (30 May 2022).

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

He has not been located and police are now appealing for public assistance.

Ahmad is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, about 170cm tall, of average build, with short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a brown baseball cap, navy blue jacket, brown pants and carrying a small black over the shoulder bag.

Police hold concerns for Ahmad as he suffers from dementia and has a heart condition. He also speaks minimal English.

Anyone who sees Ahmad or has information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact Burwood Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
