Police Appeal To Locate Boy Missing From Shalvey 26 March

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney's west.

James Leuthwaite, aged 12, was last seen in Shalvey about 4pm today (Wednesday 26 March 2025).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Mt Druitt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for James' welfare due to his age.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, with a thin build, brown hair and blue eyes.

James was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and dark blue shorts.
