Police appeal to locate elderly man missing from Sydney CBD

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's CBD.

James Bearpark, aged 86, was last seen in Darlington, about 4.30pm today (Tuesday 6 September 2022).

Officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command were notified and have commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age and that he lives with dementia, along with several other serious health conditions.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build, with short white hair, and a white beard.

He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, denim jeans, and black/white shoes.

He is believed to be walking a white poodle named Cobber.
