Police Appeal To Locate Elderly Woman - Earlwood

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman missing from Sydney's southwest.

Aloisia Medved, aged 85, was last seen leaving Canterbury Hospital, about 10.30pm yesterday (Monday 7 October 2024).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with dementia.

Aloisia is described as being of Mediterranean / Middle Eastern appearance, about 155cm tall, of slim build, with short grey hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing black pants, a pink shirt, brown coat, black shoes and wearing a lanyard around her neck (as depicted in attached photo).

Aloisia was last seen in Campsie walking towards Lakemba and may be heading to Earlwood.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to contact Campsie Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
