Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney's southwest.
Mayar Bashir, aged 14, was last seen on Jacobs Street, Bankstown, about 7.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 14 January 2025).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Mayar's welfare due to her age.
Mayar is described as being of Middle Eastern / Mediterranean appearance, about 140cm tall, of slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing black pants, black shirt and white shoes.
She is known to frequent the Bankstown area.
