Police Appeal To Locate Girl Missing From Maitland Area

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the state's Hunter Region.

Kyia Wade, aged 12, was last seen leaving a home in Tenambit about 6.30pm on Friday (28 February 2025).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Port Stephens Police District were contacted and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Kyia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a olive complexion, of a thin build, with black hair.

She was last seen wearing a black shirt, a black jumper and black shorts.

Kyia is believed to be in the company of two other children last seen in the Metford area.

She is known to frequent the Hornsby, Parramatta, Strathfield, Hornsby, Maitland and Dungog areas.

Anyone who has information on Kyia's whereabouts is urged to contact Maitland Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
