Police appeal to locate girl missing from Sydney's east

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Charlotte Cook, aged 16, was last seen at her home in Beresford Road, Bellevue Hill, about 11:00pm on Thursday 24 December 2022.

When she failed to return home, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for Charlotte due to her age and her disappearance being out of character, especially on Christmas Day. She is not in possession of her mobile phone nor believed to have access to money.

Charlotte is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm - 165cm tall, of small build, with light brown hair. She was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper and blue shorts.

She is known to frequent the Eastern Suburbs, Sydney CBD and Inner West areas.
