Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.
Adeel Akbar, aged 37, was last seen at a home in Toongabbie on last Tuesday (18 June 2024).
When he didn't return home and was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified yesterday (Monday 24 June 2024), and inquiries commenced into his whereabouts.
There are concerns for Adeel's welfare due to a medical condition requiring regular medication, and the fact he is visiting family in Sydney from WA.
He is described as being of Indian/Sub-continental appearance, 183cm tall, thin build, with short black hair and brown eyes, and is unshaven. He wears glasses. When last seen he was wearing a blue puffer jacket.
Inquiries indicate Adeel may have been in the Sydney CBD.
Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
