Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Sutherland 8 July

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's Sutherland Shire.

Michael Heather, aged 37, was last seen at a leisure centre on Rawson Avenue, Sutherland at 9.21am on Friday 21 June 2024.

When he could not be located, officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Michael is described as being of Caucasian appearance, large build, about 170cm – 180cm tall, with brown hair.

He is believed to be travelling in a white Iveco van with NSW registration DE79FQ.

Michael is known to frequent the Dubbo, Como Jannali, Sutherland and Kirrawee areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
