Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Strathfield 29 September

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south west.

Yiquan Yan, aged 77, was last seen in Strathfield South about 6.30am this morning (Sunday 29 September 2024).

When concerns were raised for his welfare, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Yiquan is described as being of Asian appearance, about 175cm tall with a thin build, short white hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark brown jacket and long grey pants.

Yiquan is known to frequent the Strathfield and Lugarno areas.
