Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing in the Blue Mountains.
John Cusack, aged 82, was last seen entering the Birdwood Gully track on Bednal Road, Springwood at 4pm today (Thursday 3 October 2024).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.
John is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build with white hair.
He was last seen a black and white shirt and a red jacket.
